In the Russian River Resort Area and along the Sonoma Coast is Sophie’s Cellars Wine Tasting Room. It is only 8 minutes from the ocean in the town of Duncans Mills. The small town has 24 merchants, antique stores, galleries gourmet foods and wines. Locals night is a locals favorite hang out on Friday. I love to sit on the deck eat some local cheeses, salmon, salamis, crackers and fruit. I am excited to see John’s picks on wines by the glass and Beer from Russian River Brewing Company. I personally am not an IPA drinker but fear not they have Pliny the Elder for those of you who love an IPA. It is a great wind down into the weekend.
